I know the majority of you already know this, BUT.....I see this mistake often enough and have received emails about it, so here we go:

If you want to leave a comment FOR THE ORIGINAL POSTER, you click the little blue pencil icon.

If you want to reply to a user who has already left a comment (aka, to say thank you, ask them for a copy of a fic, gush about their friggin awesome icon, whatever, etc) you click THE WORD "reply" on THEIR comment.   Otherwise your comment will go back to the original poster.

ADDITIONAL REMINDER:

Despite the community name, this community isn't limited to Spike-centric stuff.   Feel free to search for stuff regarding ANY CHARACTER in the Buffy/Angel-verse, just no RPS.
