Looking for a Spike/Buffy fic

There's one detail that sticks in my mind - Willow discovers Spike and Buffy having sex and curses him so that just being near Buffy causes him physical pain. She has to stay well away from him and I think Giles is there to help find a cure.

ETA - found, thanks to jnb71976 - it's part of Herself's Bittersweet's Series "What's it to Be"


It's possible that they've asked Willow to move out from Revello Drive, and she's come back to collect a few things and is upset to find that Buffy and Spike have moved into the room she and Tara shared. There also might be a statue that Spike has given Buffy that falls and gets broken. They find it odd that Willow has come back for her things as there's only a few bits and pieces and an old sweatshirt. I also remember a fic where Spike goes into the attic to get some boxes down and finding most of them have been ruined by water damage. These last details might be completely red herrings though and from several other fics that have nothing to do with the one I'm trying to find. (The perils of having read far too much fanfic *g*).

ETA2 - I was right in thinking that these bits were completely unrelated - the first bits are from missmurchison's Chiaroscuro (thanks tangwystl, and the water damaged boxes are in talesofspike's "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy".

Hope someone can help - I feel as though I really should know this fic without even having to think about it.

The first bit of your description sounds like part of The Bittersweets Series by Herself. Not sure which part, but Willow does curse Spike when she finds him and Buffy in Bed together.

Thank you! That's exactly it (and I knew it was one I should have known, it's the only part of the Bittersweets Series that I printed out).

The other part of the post was indeed me mixing up two totally unrelated fics (Miss Murchison's Chiaroscuro Series and Tales of Spike's 'Fumbling Towards Ecstasy).

I'm not sure about the water damage though, it may not be in this story. But the bit with the statute, is in there. I'm pretty sure of that.

Thank you - it is indeed from Chiaroscuro. And I've remembered where the water damaged boxes come in - that's Tales of Spike's Fumbling Towards Ecstasy.
