seeking_spike | (no subject)

This is driving me crazy...can't for the life of me track down this story:
(hopefully I'm not getting two story lines mixed up)

1. Set during the high school years. The others decide that it's too dangerous for Xander to keep fighting, and push him out (alternately, Sander may have gotten really angry at the others and quit the Scoobies).

2. Xander, without having to deal with the stresses of demonic activity and late-night apocalypse study sessions, is able to pull up his grades.

3. (most important part) Xander knows something (about Angel?) and refuses to tell Buffy about it, for her own good. Willow uses magic (a very painful spell) to force Xander to answer. This makes Xander furious with Willow, breaking their friendship, and Giles stops the magic lessons he had been giving Willow. Later on in the story, Willow (supposedly trying to stay on the straight and narrow) panics during the locker searches (from the episode about the Sunnydale witch hunts), and Xander is perfectly fine with her practicing magic. This raises suspicions, and Giles and Buffy find out that Willow's been doing memory spells on Xander.

4. Very likely a Spike/Xander pairing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
