Spuffy fic

seeking_spikeBeen puzzling over this one for a few days - I think this part takes place in the old initiative site, Xander presses a button and Spike is exchanged for a past Spike (possibly Boxer-rebellion Spike, but that might be a different fic). Riley might be around, and they have to reverse what Xander did in order to get present day Spike back.
Can't remember any other details regarding season etc. Hope someone can help with this one.

One of my favs too. Found at TSR, BSV, her LJ and her site (the link I've added).
To Save a Lady (2005) – NC17 – Also set in an alternate, very early, Season V in which Spike is a more accepted member of the Scooby gang and everyone except Buffy and the vampire are more than aware of the growing attraction between the two. It takes an accidental trip back in time for them to realize how they feel about each other. Winner of multiple awards, and one of my favs.

Date: 2010-05-10 09:58 pm (UTC)There is one I still have to remember the title and author where Post-chosen-Buffy is sad / misses Spike and has Willow get him back from the past (or does a spell with Willow's help by herself) - that doesn't function so she gets the Boxer-rebellion Spike instead her 'own' Spike. Who will be sent back at the end of the story but Buffy's Spike will be there by then. He couldn't be found because he wasn't gone (= @ Angel). (Dawn was in this story too as a helper I think.)
It's late and I have no clue about the title and author at the moment - I KNOW I know it. Dreamweaver has a lot of fics where Buffy or Spike go back. Not sure if it was one of hers. I will have a DUH!!!!! moment if someone remembers the title.
