I am taking little liberty and reposting search from another site. It's only because I would love to read that story too. And lately all searches I find interesting end up like 'cold cases'

Buffy and Spike are married with children. Spike has an affair and tells Buffy he wants to leave her for the other woman. He regrets it really soon and wants her back but she is to hurt and they get divorced. Than a while later she tells him to come home.

I'm not positive which one (or even definitely if this IS it), but this story sounds like it may belong to Mrs. Muir's Baby Series (http://dark-solace.org/elysian/series.php?seriesid=28).

I know which story from the series you have in mind. But it was figured it's You were mine by Jake. Author took it off from the net and planing to re-write it. Too bad I never so any of those fics that were taken down really re-written...
