I'm afraid I don't remember many details about this particular story, but it was Xander-based and fairly long.  After being possessed by the Soldier, he became a permanent part of Xander's mind and melded with him somehow, in addition it unlocked the Hyena as well but they were all still completely separate entities.  He was also able to let them take control of his body. I think I remember another character being added to his mind somehow but I'm not positive. 

Edit:  I believe it started with a scene from the Soldier's point of view.
