seeking_spike | The Scoobies betray Willow

Another one I thought I had until I wanted to read it again. This story might be called 'Betrayel' but I'm not sure. Buffy has been dead a couple of days and while Willow wants to mourn with her friends, Giles, Oz, Xander, and Angel are doing their best to get her to go after Spike, her supposed murderer. Otherwise they avoid her. Spike confronts her and asks her if she ever saw the body. He takes her around to the apartment behind Giles' house and sees that Buffy is hiding out there. She breaks into Giles' house and finds a prophecy that says that she has to kill Spike without being told about the prophecy or she will lose her soul and Spike will be totally immortal. That drives her right into Spike's arms; the bad guy is the only one who didn't lie to her.
