Does anyone remember any stories like these?

Hi everybody. I have been going back and reading older spuffy fics lately. I was hoping that I had saved 2 that I vaguely remember reading years ago. I don't have titles or authors and not much of anything else for that matter. The only things that I remember are that in one fic before being turned Spike was a pastor or minister; in the other one he was a doctor. Does anyone remember any that are about this subject matter? I have searched my files till my vision is blurd. Any help would be welcome.

I remember reading one where it turned out Spike had been a doctor, but no idea who wrote it or what it was called. I know it had to be really old, as it was obviously written before we knew anything about Spike's life before he was turned. That would make it likely to have been on AAS or one of the other older archives. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

I think I recall reading a permanent wip by L A Ward at allaboutspike that had something gunning for Spike. Spike revealed to Giles that William had been a vicar.

The Dr one is where she has damaged her legs and Joyce hires him to take care of an angry and bitter Buffy. He starts Buffy doing physical therapy (Dr training). Walsh has put a spell on her so she won't heal. Why no, I don't know the title or author. I'm off to look but maybe those plot points will help?

Thank all of you for the recs. I've reread Walking After Midnight and I'm pretty sure that is the doctor fic. I'm not sure about the minister or vicor fic, but how many of those can there be. Thanks again.

In the very excellent abandoned When Darkness Falls by LA Ward and Sanguine spike reveals he was a vicar at the end of chapter 11. Allaboutspike has 12 chapters but there might be another ch floating around out there.
