spike lying naked on a chinelle rug by Valerie X, can be found at www.allaboutspike.com. I always find really great fic there. anyway, that piece is actually the last in a series of fics by her. I haven't read any of the others, because I am partial to the smut and the others are about the growing friendship and angst as Spike raises Dawn post-Chosen. The chinelle rug piece can be read separately and it makes perfect sense, but I'd recommend the whole series if you have more patience than me, just based off of the fact that the writing is wonderful, hilarious and bittersweet and spot on with characterization.

Go read curiouswombat's Ten Years After if you haven't already. It's a wonderful Dawn/Spike romance and a great story even if you don't ship that couple.

Glad you found a few things, but next time please post any general-type rec request at our sister community: find_buffy_recs. It's for general requests, and this comm is for finding the specific fics/art/etc. that you have already read or seen.
