Life's What Happens

Some years ago I read "Life's What Happens When You're Making Other Plans" by ComedyofErrors. It was a superior piece, very long, but unfortunately not finished. However, even as a permanent WIP, it was well worth reading, and I saved the 47 chapters that were written.

So now, I'm re-reading it, only to discover that Chapters 19 and 39 are missing. Did anyone besides me copy this story and save it? And does anyone know why it (and all the rest of Comedy's work) was taken down from The Crypt?

Comedy took her work down everywhere. Something in her RL was going on and being tied to any sort of fanfic was not something she wanted or needed. It was a shame because she wrote WONDERFUL stories!

I never got a chance to copy down the ones she had and would love a copy of any that you do if you wouldn't mind e-mailing them to me. If you are okay with that I'll private message my e-mail addy to you if you don't have it. Her Sympathy for the Devil was wonderful too.

I'd be happy to send it to you. However, I don't have Word; I use Open Office. What file format is good for you?

Wow...not sure . I use word but I have options where I think I could take an Open office (it calls it Open document I think) and save it as a word doc on mine....not positive about that but well worth a try.). I'll give you my e-mail addy in a private msg.

As I told Kathleen, I can send it in various file formats, but none of them are Word. Can you open rtf files?

I take it back. Actually, I can convert it to Word 6.0, if you can use that.

I've sent you the file, but I also sent it to Peifferpack and she didn't get it. Did you receive it okay and could you open it okay? I can re-send if necessary.

By the way, my copy of "Sympathy for the Devil" appears to be complete. I also have Comedy's "Mastery".

Seems I got ahead of myself on this one.

I managed to download to Chapter 31 then the Archive just wasn't able to display thereafter. It seems that the only other archive it was available on was Fanfiction.net and that site is tightly controlled by robots, so no joy there.

I've contacted a friend on another forum to see what she has and if it's more I'll forward along.

I found this thread when I was searching for the above Spaith fic and was able to read the first 30 chapters. Unfortunately the rest of the links aren't working.
