Hi

This is the first time coming here, hoping you guys can help me out!!1

 A long time ago I read a fic where buffy and giles were in england and i think they were and a vision/spirit quest. Giles stays with the car and was changing a tyre while buffy goes to do the quest, theres a thunder storm giles falls i think and ends up with hyperthermia. Buffy is doing her quest, she follows a deer which leads her back to giles. I think its post chosen but I am not sure.

Does anyone know any stories like this?

I'm sure I'm completely off the rails on this one but Megan wrote a story about a spirit quest gone awry called "The Beat of a Different Drum" which you can track here: http://dark-solace.org/elysian/viewuser.php?uid=4
