seeking_spikeHello! The first fic I'm looking for I remember reading at least a few years ago. Spike has shanshued but has no memory of his previous life. Buffy stumbles upon him at the beach, where he was a writer and a surfer, I believe. She takes an apartment in his building to be near him, and they date, without him knowing the truth (at least at first). And Spike makes her watch his favorite movie, Endless Summer. I feel like I should know this, but I just can't think what it was called or who wrote it... help?
The second fic is a very old one I remember reading back in 2001 or 2002, when I first discovered fanfic. It featured Angel during World War I (I believe). He was in the Army or Marines, or at least pretended to be, doing his whole remorseful soul-having thing, fighting with his fellow troops in the trenches. I remember that it was supposedly really overcast weather all the time, which supposedly explained why he didn't fry in the sun. I don't remember much more, but if that sounds familiar to anyone, I'd love to read it again. It's one of my earliest fanfic memories :)
