Exquisite Corpse

Hey guys,

I was looking for a story I remember really loving-- Exquisite Corpse, by Thrombus and d.irge, but I got a 404 when I tried the link I had for that story. It's so sad-- fic links are going dead. Half Gifts is gone too; though at least I copied and pasted that one onto my hard drive!

Anyway does anyone have any ideas? It was a gorgeous, well written season 6 Spuffy story with Spike & Dawn and Spike & Xander bonding.

I've tried the Wayback Machine, but it doesn't work. I went looking for it a few months ago and couldn't find it either, what I found was the author's LJ here. He/She has a ,probably new, chunk of it in tags here.

Maybe you can contact the author and ask about it.

Thanks so much for the suggestion; I'll give it a try! I did notice that s/he has a link for the story in her lj, but it's dead too. Maybe we could bribe her for a copy...

And, just out of curiosity, how much of Half Gifts do you have? I have most of it, but I believed some additional parts were posted on LJ that I may not have.

I think I have most of what she posted in her LJ (I was so addicted to that story! Though it was well before I got a journal myself) I'll have to take a look when I get home. I'm happy to share whatever I have!

I heard she grew somewhat disillusioned with fandom and left on an unhappy note, though I don't have any details. It's too bad, and I hope she's doing well.

Sorry, I was wondering if you could email me what you have of half-gifts? It is one of my favorites, but I did not have the insight to save it, and the idea that more was posted to LJ than what I've seen is tantalizing in the extreme.

Rummaging around my HD I've found a copy of Exquisite Corpse and remembered that someone was looking for it. I think is all there was published , so if you haven't found a copy and are still interested I can send you one.
