Exorcising Spike's demon?

Does this sound familiar to anybody?  I read a fic (which was a WIP at the time), probably a few years ago where...

Giles is back in England, and has a friend who is a witch.
Spike wants the witch to turn him human by removing his demon.  
This might be post-Seeing Red or post-Grave, but I'm not sure.
There's a period of time where his demon is dying, and Spike must be restrained, because the demon is fighting the procedure.

Sorry that's not much to go on, but I just know I read it at one point, and never saw how it ended.  I appreciate any help!
