Xander/Spike fic -- FOUND "Puppy Love" by perverted_pages!!!!!!

I was reading this story and I'd gotten 10 or so chapters in and have lost my link.
It was a Spike/Zander. If this is any help the journal had a painting of two sort of creepy, doll/girls at the top (that was really cool), that didn't seem to have anything to do with Buffy. : ) and the background on the journal had green on it I think a sage green.?!? : )
Zander gets captured by spike.
He uses skills he remembers from reading he snuck in the library on how to appease a vampire to keep him alive.
He uses all his tricks so that Spike doesn't go into a blood rage and kill him.

Spike treats him like a pet, even calling him Pet and Zander doesn't get to leave the bedroom/room for at least the 10 chapters I read.
Zander remarks on how cold Spike is and Spike forgets to feed Zander at first.
When Zander is broken he brings him some warm food.

Sorry for the oh so vague description, but any and all help appreciated if this rings any bells

That's it, that's it! Thank you so much. I get so tired of being in the middle of a story and something happens to my browser and I lose the link. GRRRR. I've fixed that now. I add any story I'm reading to Evernote and it doesn't matter what happens I have a running list of what I am reading.

I'm bad, I'm an author myself and I KNOW how important feedback is, but I was really enjoying Zander's breaking and how much was really left in there. I'm normally Supernatural gal. This is my first Buffy-verse fic, but it reminded me of my favourite episode of Buffy where Cordelia wishes Buffy had never been born and that sprouted such an interesting world.
Anyway good job! And thanks for the link!.
