Two stories

seeking_spikeI'm looking for two stories.
1) it's a Spike/Xander story, possibly AU or everybody is human alternate reality. In this story Xander drives home from work, I think, and sees Spike sitting in front of a house, playing guitar. Spike cannot talk or read/write because of brain damage he got from an accident. He still understand spoken language, so he has these picture cards that he shows people at restaurants to tell them what he wants. Also, Spike was a writer before the accident happened. -- FOUND! 2) could also be Spike/Xander, but there is a large possibillity that it could also be a Buffy/Spike story. It could even be gen, for all I remember about it. I read in years ago, probably while BtVS was still running. In this story one of the Scoobies - maybe Dawn (in case this story takes place in season 5 or later, not sure about this) or Willow or Buffy - reads a book for school. This book is either a collection of poems or a novel, which actually makes more sense as there is also a line in the story that goes something like this: "while the largest part of William [insert name here]'s work consists of what is today known as the Cecily cycle (or letters, again not sure), his greatest achievement is his only novel." It is explained that the author of the book was attempting to mold his writing style into that of a poet, which resulted in the many peoms dedicated to Cecily. These poems were nothing but mediocre whereas the novel was described as genius. The novel was first published after the author died/vanished.
Later in the story Spike finds out about this novel and wonders why anybody would have wanted to publish the scribblings he, as a human, wrote when searching for inspiration for poetry. He then finds out that people love his book.
I have been looking for these stories for a long while and would be really grateful for you help.
