twice - missing Scoobie duo writing books

Two stories I thought I had but can't find, (grrrrr!) both about the Scoobies finding two of their lost members. The first one is Xander and Oz writing horror books based on their experiences in Sunnydale. Giles starts editing the series and recognizes the stories, then quietly tracks them down. He promises the publishing company to try to persuade them to allow their books to be made into movies, knowing they will say no. The two young men are lovers and own a dog and a cat.

The second story is centered on Willow and Spike. The two are left behind one night in Sunnydale when the rest of the Scoobies go out to battle the latest Big Bad. Willow follows them later, only to see a demon standing over the messily dead bodies of all of her friends. In a blind panic she grabs Spike and they hightail it out of Sunnydale. If she had waited a few moments she would have seen the demon wake her friends up for another training session. He was helping them find a way to defeat the evil demon and their deaths was a temporary illusion. Several years later the remaining Scoobies receive an invitation to the home of a reclusive author (not totally sure what story brought them to the house) who turns out to be Willow and Spike who had thought their friends dead until recently.
