Willow is turned, forms powerful triumvirate with Angel and Spike

If I had a laptop I'd be able to click on my icon to bring up older entries to find the search I know is here, but I don't. So here I am again. This one is a multi-parter that takes place over several years. Willow in in L.A. when she's grabbed and turned by a vamp who's not much more than a fledge himself. When he's dusted by the leader of their group she runs and makes her way to Angel (and Spike) for protection. Highlights of the very lengthy saga: the Three have to ritually battle other vampires and become the leaders of the L.A. community; after a few bumpy times Willow maintains her friendship with her (former) lover and Buffy; because of that friendship the Council kill Buffy with poison; the PTB give Angelus a week free to join Spike, Willow, and Ripper in killing the Watchers responsible; Spike and Willow save the next slayer from attack and befriend and train her.

ur looking for the masters & minions series.  im on my phone right now so im afraid I can't check who the author is.  possibly female of the species but I could be wrong.

I'm glad I could help.  that's a gd story.  I came 2 buffy fandom really late & that was the first story I read so I remember it.  just not the author it would seem :O oops.
