AO3 - Buffy Season 6 alt.?

Hello There!

I'm currently reading "Family" by stuffandnonsense on AO3 and it reminded me of another fic that I'm now looking for.

They are both really similar - but the memory spell by Willow in "Family" doesn't seem familiar. I do know that Willow goes away to a coven in England (Devon?) because she is out of control with her magic. Spike works hard to protect Dawn and Buffy begins to see how supportive he is, resulting in her "choosing his side" again Willow. I believe there is also a scene where Spike works to access a treasure in the sewers in order to provide money for Buffy and Dawn, who are struggling to pay bills now that Buffy is back from the dead.

I do know the story was on AO3 - feel free to comment with questions about the story I'm looking for or any suggestions. Thanks!!

I also think there was a scene where Anya and Xander run away to elope because they don't want to deal with a wedding...but this happens after they break-up for a time because they aren't sure what they want.

But I could be confusing this with another fic...help!

Okay, these storylines are sounding REALLY familiar... and it's on the tip of my brain (because I think I've read it recently). Will have to search through some of the fic I've got saved to see if I can narrow it down.

Could it be Collide (http://archiveofourown.org/works/1683422/chapters/3578123) by enigmatic_blue? I know Xander and Anya split up in that one and then I think they end up eloping in the sequel, Brace Yourself (http://archiveofourown.org/works/1683503/chapters/3578393).

fenchurche, you were right! I was able to do some more digging (thank goodness AO3 has a history function) and find "Collide" and "Brace Yourself", both of which had all the parts I was looking for.

I know that Xander and Anya elope to Vegas in Spike's Will Be Done. But that's on Bloodshedverse. But in that one Spike has already found the treasure (back in season 4) and converted it to cash. Buffy doesn't find out until part way into the story. It's a multi-story fic. And Willow dies.
