Buffy/Spike story search

Hi,

at the moment, I am very much going mad trying to find a particular Buffy/Spike story. The only thing I remember about it is that it was set during "Intervention" and that Glory decides to after all dig around in Spike's head... pulls her hands back out... and has his chip in her fingers.

Does anyone of you remember that? What is it called, who is the author, and where can I find it? Thanks so much.

There was one called sideways shanshu that had Glory pull Spike's chip out and he had to go through some portal to rescue Dawn and when he came out he was alive.

I know that Glory remove the chip in:

Was it "Darkest Before Dawn" (http://home.att.net/~lubakmetyk/crypt.htm#nmissi) by nmissi? That particular scene happens in the first chapter (which was originally intended as a standalone, but blossomed into a much larger story).

No, I did not. I probably never will. It died an ignominious death when I realised I'd grown to hate the show. The last couple of seasons just sucked all the joy out of it for me. I'm truly sorry.
