Fic: AU season 2 with kid!Dawn and wheelchair-bound!Spike

The story I'm looking for was a canon-set alternate universe, set around season 2? Angelus and Drucilla kidnap little Dawn, who bonds with the wheelchair-bound Spike. He helps her escape later in the story. Does this sound familiar to anyone? It was really quite old (oh, goodness, I may have read it about ten years ago), and unfinished at the time, but I keep wanting to re-read it...

Hm, not it, but thanks! The one I'm thinking of didn't really jump back and forth, and I don't think Spike knew Dawn prior to Angelus kidnapping her... I can remember parts of it quite well, but things like title and author escape me entirely!
