seeking_spikeThis is a story I read years ago and I've become obsessed with finding it again - maybe because I found it so disturbing, heh!
So, it's set in Season 6, and Buffy really came back wrong - she's obsessed with getting back to heaven, and she decides that if Dawn's blood opened the portal the first time, it can open it again (yikes!).
Spike can't say no to Buffy, so he helps her, but it doesn't work - there's a scene in which Spike is burying Dawn while Buffy completely loses it (because it didn't work, not because Dawn is dead).
I hope someone remembers this one!
