Okay, so I'm looking for a Spuffy fic. All I can remember is that Buffy was lying on the beach sunbathing and then she feels someone put sunscreen on her and she thinks it's Riley at first but turns out to be Spike instead. And that's all I can remember. I know, not a lot, but I hope it sparks someone's memory!

I have no idea if this is what you're looking for, but my first fic, The Hunt (http://www.loveslastglimpse.com/hunt.html), has a scene in the second chapter exactly as you describe. Considering how much comes after it and that it's a dream sequence, it's probably not the one you're thinking about, but I thought I'd toss it into the list of possibilities anyway. ;)
