seeking_spikeI have an odd question. I recently read the summary of an Ellora's Cave novel called The Price of Fame by Ashley Ladd. Here it is...(really...this IS On Topic, please bear with %^D)
When Average Jane Wendy Applegate is called home to be at her ailing mother's side, her secret identity is put in grave jeopardy. Neither her mother, sister, or the man she left behind knows she is the scandalous masked mega rock-and-roll star, Skye Blue.
Now I could SWEAR I read this as a Spuffy AU story once. Does the summary sound familiar to anyone? If so what was the name of the story and the author? Is there yet another fanfic author who went pro? %^D

The only similar book I know is Bittenandstaked's Summer's Secret, previously *ah, found it!!* There's More To Life Than This (Spuffy Fanfic). (The singer's identity is a secret. Parts doesn't fit the description, like going back, though.)
