(no subject)
Jul. 15th, 2007 10:57 amI think this is my first question here (amazing, considering my lousy memory for fic titles and authors). Anyway, here's one I'd love to find again.
Set post season VI (perhaps post Chosen?), a human Spike is staying with Giles in England while they try to sort out what happened to him (I believe he may have been in Africa to get his soul, and this was the result). Buffy shows up. There is awkwardness and work to do, but she and Spike get on a motorcycle and head off together. There is a (hot) reunion when they've worked through their issues and they seem to be on their way to a real relationship. Then bad guys show up. In the course of a fight in which Spike does things that shouldn't be possible for an ordinary human, a house elf of some sort points to him and calls him "Slayer". And that's all I've read. There was clearly intended to be more, as a friend has been kidnapped and the bad guys (the Council, maybe?) are still out there, but that is all I've read. If you know where this fic is archived (I believe it was a UK-based site) or the title or author, I'd love to find it again to see if she's finished it.
